The Psychology of (In)Design: Using Design Principles to Create InDesign Pursuit Elements
We know the RFQ requirements. We have the content. Now, let's hack the rules of design psychology and apply them in real-time in this hands-on workshop.

We’ll create elements and layouts that capture each reviewer’s attention through:

• Color Influence. Learn the emotions tied to color and how to use color on your page to draw attention.
• Repetition. Use styles to create consistency and repetition in your documents for a cohesive submittal.
• Spacing. Discover the rules—and when to break them—regarding inset spacing, text wraps, typography leading, etc.
• Placement Patterns. Where elements are placed on the page can affect how to reviewer absorbs content. Create layouts that guide the reader through your message.
• Visual Hierarchy. Understand how reviewers perceive order and create a visual hierarchy for your document.
• Simplicity. Learn ways to simplify your designs…even within RFQ/RFP constraints.

Come prepared—with your laptop installed with InDesign — and leave with the knowledge and tools to tackle your next pursuit!
